Not necessarily! 2 for 1 special that worked out to $19/person including tax (walking) ended up being a disappointing afternoon. We played on a nice sunny day in mid September and the course was in terrible condition, almost like they gave up maintaining it for the year. The greens were so painful we pretty much gave up even trying to putt, they were a terrible combination of plugged and mediocre condition to begin with. Probably a third of the putting surface wasn't grass (or flat!). Anything off the fairway you were lucky to find let alone be able to play, the rough was out of control. I ended up with a short chip on the 18th green that rolled just off the fringe and it was 3" grass! It was quite disappointing really, because the course has a lot of character and an interesting design, especially some of the holes on the newer back nine. I realize it's September but if you're going to take peoples' money at least mow the grass! I doubt we'll be back next year, at any point during the season. Played This Course?
